How many tours do we do per day?

We have two tours a day, one in the morning at 8am and one in the afternoon at 1pm.

How long does the tour last?

2-3 hours from start to finish.

Do you recommend booking before?

Advanced reservations are highly recommended (and the only real way to guarantee your spot), however we are sometimes able to accommodate last minute additions as space and guides allow.

What is the maximum number of people that can go on the tour at once?

20 people per tour.

What is the minimum number of people that can go on the tour?

2 people minimum per tour.

Where should we meet?

The main office for the Osa Canopy Tour is located on the Costanera Highway at km marker 196. To get there from Uvita, travel 25 minutes south. From Palmar Sur, travel north just past Puerto Cortez in Costa Rica. GPS: 8°59’05.3”N 83°31’07.3”W. This is where we must meet before we go up to the starting point. What do you wear?

Comfortable clothes and shoes for zipping through the air. We do not recommend wearing very short shorts as the harness straps can feel uncomfortable when directly on skin. Closed shoes are best but secured sandals (not flip-flops) are also acceptable.

What to bring?

We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, water, insect repellent and a hat if you have one.

Are pregnant people allowed to do the tour?

No. For safety reasons pregnant folks are not allowed to do the tour.

Is there a maximum weight limit?

Yes the maximum weight limit is 230 pounds (105 kg) per participant. We will ask everyone their weight at the office, and we have a scale here too, in order to measure.

Is there a minimum age?

Yes, 4 years old is the minimum age to do the tour.

I’ve booked online and heaven’t heard anything – what do I do?

If you do not receive a confirmation email within the a few minutes after booking, your bank may have blocked the transaction or something may have gone wrong in the process. Please call us or send us an email to double-check your reservation and you may also need to call your bank to see if they blocked the transaction.
